PARIS, 21 May 2025 – The EDFI Annual Meeting starts today in Paris. Themed ‘Journey without Maps – Development Finance Institutions in times of radical uncertainty’, it is kindly hosted by French EDFI Proparco.

Some 140 people will take part in the two-day meeting which bring together EDFI member European DFIs, shareholders, and partners to explore the present and ways to navigate the future.

Day 1 kicks off with the statutory part, namely the EDFI Annual General Meeting. The shareholder programme occurs alongside the statutory meetings throughout the day, with high-impact sessions on development finance topics for EDFIs and their shareholders.

Day 2 invites all attendees to explore topics which include African-European partnership. The day will close with a session which tackles the conference theme, with speakers, panels and plenty of Q&A exchange with conference attendees. EDFI CEOs will take part in sessions along with experts and investors from throughout the development finance world.
